Tim Del Castillo
Founder & Principal – Drawbridge Mediation
Tim Del Castillo brings a rare and valuable perspective to mediation—one shaped by years of experience representing both employees and employers in complex workplace disputes. As the Founder and Principal of Drawbridge Mediation, Tim draws on his deep understanding of both sides of employment law to help parties find resolution of a wide variety of employment law disputes. Tim offers his expertise in wage and hour litigation, including class actions and PAGA, discrimination, retaliation, contract disputes and many other areas of California employment law.
A seasoned litigator, Tim has successfully handled a wide range of employment matters in state and federal courts, administrative hearings, arbitrations, and negotiations. Before founding Drawbridge Mediation, he successfully started his own litigation practice—Castle Law: California Employment Counsel, PC—representing both employers and employees. Prior to starting Castle Law, Tim practiced complex employment law at two of California’s most respected international law firms—Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLPand Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP—giving him firsthand insight into the strategies and concerns of employers. He now leverages that extensive employment litigation experience, offering a well-rounded, practical approach to every mediation.
Tim is known by colleagues and clients alike as intelligent, reasonable, and tenacious. His sharp legal mind is matched by a calm, even-handed demeanor that helps de-escalate tension and foster productive dialogue. Whether mediating wage and hour claims, discrimination and harassment matters, or wrongful termination disputes, Tim is committed to guiding parties toward fair, efficient, and thoughtful resolutions.
